This download provides a remote administration utility for computers running Windows 95, 98, NT and 2000. RemotelyAnywhere is unique in that it doesnt require you to install any extra server or client software. Once you run it from the host machine, you can access the computer from any Java-enabled Web browser. With a little fine tuning, the remote host may even be reached via a WAP-enabled device. RemotelyAnywhere utilizes standard TCP/IP connections, including HTTP tunneling for those using proxy servers.
The program is well suited for network use, though its secure enough to be run on the Internet at large. RemotelyAnywhere integrates with Windows NT security, thus offering SSL and SSH support.
